Thanks for the kind words Keith. Just trying my best to bring good people together. When you want to catch some hybrids, give me a shout out and we can jump on my boat and try our luck (maybe we could sneak a few into Lavon).

tbarnes,

What does how long you have been on this forum have anything to do with ones knowledge/experience or wanting to help out a fellow fisherman? I can assure you that the Lewisville fishing club has some very knowledgeable, seasoned fisherman on board. It's a great club, we enjoy helping others and have a good time doing so. I just hope that it does not get cheapened by people who share the same opinions expressed in your post.

They got them already. They are on the banks catching fish by the 100's. They use poles, cast nets, saines, how ever they can get them. 1 inch to 40 inch fish, they take everything home.
Now those dudes can fish!

Not upset I just had seen this post a couple of times in the last few weeks and I have been fishing this lake for many years amd have guided on it as well. Not knocking anyone just know some of the people that have been been around for a while.most of us have set up private groups in the forum and communicate that way!

Wish you all the luck with the Club! I also was having a little fun with the hybrid thing they are pretty easy to catch here for the next few weeks.

Best regards!

I enjoy the post and the forum nut I sure do not use this forum to direct me on the fishing,if I did I would be dead sticking and all and be late on what really is going on with the fish!

I wish all the fisher man on lewisville the best and the club is a great idea!

There are no fish in Lewisville. Any fish you think you caught in Lewisville are entirely a figment of your imagination!

Nice figment in that pic!!

I will never understand why fisherman, all makes and models, want to keep fishing a secret.

Pretty sorry existence, if you ask me, to have something that you enjoy so very much and then want to keep it a secret so nobody else can enjoy it.

Ya..we put some "work" in to our fishing and finding fish. Sure. I get it. But at the end of the day, fishing should be about having fun and sharing that fun with others is a huge part of that fun.

If you make your living guiding and have forgotten the fun that probably got you started in that business, I really feel sorry for you. If you make your living guiding and don't want to share in anything that you have learned, then I feel sorry for you for that too. But I would also expect yourself to gracefully excuse yourself from this forum and not learn or glom, either intentionally or unintentionally, from it. But that's just me.

Give and take and have fun.
