Hybrid gone crazy yesterday.

Could you share the information about the location, depth and lures?

I was using Berkley flicker shad.

I know where that pic was taken....... I caught the heck out of them a couple of weeks ago near the same spot...

Tawakani84--try finding the birds this time of year and chunking large swim baits in the water below. If your fishing in deep water, mark the fish with your electronics to determine the depth. where that picture was taken it varies from 30 to nothing as you get closer to the point.

Right now the bigger fish are below the sand bass. throw your swim bait and count it down five seconds before you start reeling. This way the bait will be in the deeper water under the sand bass. You will catch more hybrid this way.

Right now you cannot go wrong with chartreuse or pearl swim baits. use something about 5 inches in total length for the big hybrids.

the Lake Lewisville Fishing Club has an open meeting at bass pro shops in grapevine on Saturday the tenth. you are more than welcome to come if you are interested. we have a very good group of guys.

tbarnes - My name is Ron Duran (BlueNitro) and I started the club last July and we have about 80+ members. The reason I started the club is because I saw a lot of fellow fishermen on the lake (LL, GV, RR) each weekend and realized that we really didn't know one another. I wanted to bring as many together so we could develop friendships, help each other out (fishing/emergency) and have a good time while out on the water. We are mostly weekend anglers with a few who make a living from fishing. We have many members who are helping out in the up-coming "Take a Soldier Fishing" so we are interested in helping out the community as well. I personally have made a lot of great new friends and am having a wonderful time doing it and hope to continue to grow it so we can do more good for the lake/community (like the LLFC Family Fishing Tournament that had kids smiling and having a good time as well as the adults).
