I havent found any ponds where I have caught alot of bass. Best bet is to hit a lake and bank it there. You will find that people are hesitant to give up spots here. what area are you in? I will try to help out.

I am in wise county I have a tank that I can catch bullheads and green sunfish but I want to catch more bass. I live 30 minuetes from lake Bridgeport. I am thinking about putting bass and catfish in to eat them. I have tried LBJ (black creek) and only caught one bass

I am nowhere near you, so i cannot help with spots. have you tried the bank fishing map they have here on the TFF? also check google earth to look for some good spots in your area. the rain is going to hurt the bite for a couple days, but after everything settles, try throwing rattle traps and weightless t rigged worms and creature baits...also a square bill will probably have some success. good luck.

Hey have you tried the other 40 lakes and ponds out at LBJ? Besides black creek there are clear lake, cottonwood, little cottonwood, dan's pond, berkely pond, rucker pond, hopewell pond, mesa pond, rhodes lake, chicken lake, windmill lake, and many more.
