The DFW Bank Fishing map I created a year ago has expanded, thanks to recent contributions from TFF members, and now includes areas in and around Houston.

This map was created to help bank fisherman find good spots to fish.

If you have a spot that you'd like to add to the map, anywhere in Texas, find the location in Google Maps, then click on the "Link" button at the top right of the map. In the popup that appears, click where it says "Paste link in email or IM" and copy the link. Paste it into a PM to me and I'll get them on the map.

Texas Google Bank Fishing Map

If you want a spot posted, I need the location information per the instructions above. If I have to go searching for the location, or if the information is too general (i.e. Brazos River) it's not going to get posted.

Tight Lines!

Great map, hopefully some folks will start sending spots for the other side of Houston as well, my Dad lives on the NE side of Houston and we go down a few times a year.

Good general information. If you have specific fishing spots I can add them to the map.

It would be hard to pin point em. I just know that these bodies of water produce very good fish and have lots of bank area. Been fishing them for years.

I know these kinds of maps are helpful to those new to an area, but some of my areas that I've publicized have been cleaned out since, so I'm going to keep quiet publicly. I'd be glad to share some spots via PM for any Houston area fishers....

What is that game called, 7th degree of Bacon? It is not necessary who you tell but who the person you tell tells and so on.

As someone new to the greater San Antonio area, I can honestly say that ANY spots around here would be fantastic. I have been to Miller's Pond and Live Oak Lake but there hugely overfished, other than that I seen references to locations like "the San Antonio River" "Cibolo Creek" and the like - but no one every explains where or what the access points are so for someone like me who has no clue where these places are or how to get to a spot where there is water instead of dry creekbed, it's hard to figure out better places to go. Any help would be welcome help.

I'll try to pinpoint the Live Oak and Miller's pond areas for the map so they are up there.
