Nerev Ever let fresh water touch the meat ? You don't wash it ? Or do you wash it with salt water ? And i think i would be happy with just one also that's alot of meat . Man o man i can't wait to go . As stated eailier i am going to take some time off from deer hunting and sell some of my extra gear to buy some salt water gear . I'm also going to take the advice about fishing in Nov or Dec . I'm not sure witch month yet when it get's a few months away i will look at my work schuedle and go from there . But in the next couple month's I'm going to try to go on a shorter trip and get my sea leg's . Thank's again

Nerev Ever let fresh water touch the meat ? You don't wash it ? There are a lot of folks out there that believe it ruins the meat to let fresh water touch YFT. But it doesn't. For about ten years before getting a vac sealer about 5 or 6 years ago I always froze my tuna sealed in ziplock bags with water. I never lost any fish and it stayed good for as long as two years. To each his own on the freshwater thing.
