You ever fish the ponds off of Rochelle & Northgate? How about Lakeview Park by Valley Ranch? Mostly curious as to where people will get mad a you for fishing...

I know the ponds off Rochelle and Northgate get drained alot. My grandpa told me that he went out there to try and get bait one day and said the cops were telling him to leave before he even got to throw his net. I would bet there are some perch but that's about it. I haven't fished in Valley Ranch much.

there are some ponds north on macarthur in coppell area. I think they are called andrew brown or something like that. If I remember correctly, stocking report shows bass being stocked in the past. I fished the canal on E valley ranch pkwy near the cowboys training facility because I lived in some apartments across the street, but never got any bites. Keep the spots coming for the area...I would love to try some of them out.

I would go but the spot I know will be flowing too much from the rain yesterday. I will probably go check it out later this week... should be that time that the sandies start biting.

Not recently, but they are in there. After it floods there are quite a few washed up on the banks and some that get trapped in small pools and die. I've seen some 20-25lb buffs out there washed up.
