Maybe squawzilla has feasted on all the bass , that thing is huge. Wow aint to often that guys suggest staying at eml in jan LOL instead of going to squaw LOL . I just hope if the bites really bad I find the right guy to lie to me and tell me that they killed em so it can at least have the feel of a long day on EML. LOL  Dave, if you see squawzilla, dont get any bright ideas, i know u want a new pair of boots, but dont be trying to hit that kill spot on the back of his head with a 1oz jig.

My partner and I had a 5 fish limit of 18.8 lbs by 11am don't know what you guys are doing wrong but I can't wait for next weeks tourney!!!!!

If you can duplicate that BC your in good shape! A lot of good sticks on that lake haven't gotten bit like that in months out there. I wouldn't call myself a stick but I fished it quite a bit last year and put fish in the boat every time. Its different this year for sure so good luck in that tourney.

to ALL who think Im full of fish stories,
My partner and I are not going to say that we are the best sticks cause we are not. But we will give anyone a run for their money at squaw right now. believe if you want I really just was sharing our sucess from friday morning. If you want challenge be there sunday for the open tourney thats all I'm saying. I will be! Good luck to All that show!!!!!!!

BC,I hate to be the bearer of bad news but 18 lbs at Squaw Creek is not exactly headline news. Last year you wouldn't even get a check for that in a tournament.Unless you can find and catch 50 or 60 fish a day most people last year weren't overly impressed.You might get a check this year as nobody is fishing that lake.I will guess that you will have less than 9 lbs in the tournament.Let me know if I am wrong, usually I am not, but sometimes it does happen.
