Well, I've got a buddy who keeps on catching "6 or 7+" pounders. I usually ask if he measures them and he always tells me, yeah, they were 20" or 21".... and I'll just nod... Now, I know there are some really fat 21"ers that could be close to 7 lbs. but that's not the norm, really.

However, I'm not someone who often weighs my fish. I usually like measuring them (that's just me) unless I get one I think could be over 8-9+ then I'll weigh them. So, I'll tell my buddy I caught a 22" or 23" fish or whatever and he'll ask me, so how much did that fish weigh? 5 or 6 pounds?

Oh brother................
