Sorry if this is a repost. Being a fair skinned ginger sort, I've almost reached the point where I only fish at night. Because I'm one big melanoma waiting to happen. I hate having to put on sun screen and remember to reapply. I'm also not a fan of the face wraps, can't get use to breathing through cloth. Anyway, saw this today: http://raygear.com/index.php/face-protection-sun-fishing-recreational.html Might still be hot under this thing, and then there's the looking like Darth Vader.. Opinions?

as the poster child for skin cancer awareness, I gotta say that thing is ridiculous! Good sunscreen, a lightweight head buff, and a wide brim hat will go a lot further on protection than that thing. And Ron, there ain't nothing wrong with fishing at night

You would toss that in the lake after a couple of hours especially if it is hot out. Not a good idea. Just stick to what Blu-Ranger said.

Just cut the top and bottom off of a 2 liter soda bottle. Cut it up the side to open it up and put some string on it. save $70. It seams like that thing would fog up.

I am only to shades away from starting in the next Roots series. And I am a firm believer in wearing sun block while fishing. Although, I wouldn't mind being a fishing ninja
