Are you really that worried about disclosing your fishing location that you photoshopped the background? If I was that worried, I just wouldn't post pictures, or the name of the lake for that matter.

I have read plenty and you're right, I don't understand "the need". If it was gold prospecting, I would understand.

My point is that I find it amusing that some people (no assumption about the OP in this case) feel territorial about fishing, lakes, and fishing spots. At my home lake, I have experienced going to well known fishing spots and people act like they were the first to ever discover it or have some sense of ownership. Give me a break. BTW, this has nothing to do with the normal eitquitte discussion, because people fully aware of etiquitte do this.

It would be different is there were a few boats to congragate on a spot located from a picture posted on TFF, but when after posting a nice photo and then 25 boats show up at the spot, you learn real fast.

I have had it happen to me many times and have heard about it happening to others here including the OP here! Maybe ....just maybe that is why he chooses to photoshop his pics!! I am sure Mike along with most regulars here will devulge more info thru a PM than on the open forum!!

When I first started fishing and catching I was more than happy to share every detail of my catches and would have been more than happy to see fellow CONTRIBUTING TFF members on the spot I caught fish the next day. I am ALWAYS willing to help people enjoy this sport we love so much...BUT..There are a TON of vultures on this site that contribute nothing and troll around looking for handouts. There is a nice size group of us that fish Hubbard regularly and they warned me several times about posting unedited pictures. After arriving on a spot two weekends in a row to find 20 boats that I had never seen on the lake before I finally got the message. So criticize me all you want. I post pictures because I like the same in return. When I can't get out on the lake I love to see positive reports from other anglers, gives me something to look at during the work day and from conversations that I've had with other members they feel the same way. So I am going to continue to post reports EDITED PICTURES and all...the cool thing about the forum is...if you don't like blurry pictures...YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THEM!!!

Exactly Mike. I love knowing the fish are biting. It gets me all excited to get out there.

Please continue to post the pics. Until someone has their hot spot ruined the next day with a herd of trolling boats, they just don't understand the need to alter the background.

I really don�t see the point in getting your blood pressure all worked up over a couple of photo shopped pictures. Besides, you didn�t blur the reflection in your glasses so I know exactly where you are fishing!! Haaa. Good looking fish Mike! I�m looking forward to the tourney results.
