I sure as heck know I'm picking up trash on any lake I'm seeing right now. This is the best time to clean the lake up while it is low.

I wonder how you know that fishermen did that? It looks more like some destroyed evidence from a meth lab to me.

The weather is cooling off...organize a BBQ lunch...send everyone at the ramp out with trash bags...fish a couple of hours and pickup trash for an hour or so...bring the all the trash back to the marina...get some kegs and eat lunch...

Sealy should organize a trash collection prize, 1,000$ given to the person who brings in the most trash! You think the lake and surrounding area looks bad now, check it again after MD's.

Remember to take tall-kitchen trash bag on the boat and take a little time to pick up some trash. Now is a great time to contribute to the betterment of everyone.

I like to walk the shore line / beach on my favorite lake and see how many fishing lures, that I can find. I found one a couple of weeks ago, and I know from the metal hook holders on it, it has to be about 40 years old. Plus it's a good time to also pick up trash and make a better place to fish when the water level comes back up.

I went fishing with a Fork guide a month or two ago. While we were in gear idling I saw him finish his Gatorade, fill it with water off the side of the boat, and then let it go. Couldn't believe it. dang that aint good why don't you tell us how it is so we can not ever hire that one again
First, give thanks to God.

If the lake was'nt low would the trash still be there? I like the minner motel idea, a glass bottle would give critters a good hiding place. I bet a big enough pile would even attract bass, kinda like a rock pile. Has anyone ever fished the porceline toilets in Proctor, or Bob Sandlin, both lakes have a local plumber who also loves to fish, anyway he has piled enough toilets in one spot to create a true hump, I once had a 12 lb limit off the ones in Proctor, good enough for a second place finish in an Anglers Choice back in the 90s.
