Finally saw some schooling action this morning banana It did not last but maybe 30 minutes, but it was great to see some active fish today. All of them were thrown back today.

Wow, today was the day to be on the water! Started out slow and steady slabbing a 3/4oz Slabapolooza and slow rolling FastAlley's on a shallow ridge in about 10 feet. Put 2 or 3 nice hybrid in the boat and some sandies. Waited it out, but about 8am I gave up on the fish schooling there. Ran across the lake and saw Birds! We got into a school of nothing but hybrid and striper for about an hour. Filled the cooler till we had a nice mess and threw them back for a while. When that kinda panned out we went back to spot #1 and they were schooling there! What a morning. I had high hopes. Low clouds, sprinkles here and there, light south wind and a front rolling in tomorrow sounded to good to be true. Glad they finally showed back up!

Even the kitties at the dock were biting good today!

I have scattered open weekdays to fish and Saturday the 24th just opened up if anyone wants to hit Twok with me. These cool fronts will turn them off and on really fast this time of year, but I think as this full moon starts to receed, the fish are about to start some awesome schooling!

The fish are in less than 20 foot of water and I have caught them on everything from tailspins to 3" grubs on a 1/4oz jighead the past few days. Still able to drop the downriggers and finish off a limit of stripes and hybrid on most days when it gets tough. The good news is the wind finally pulled around to the South about noon today, so I am hopefull to see some schooling action in the next couple days. Have lots of weekdays open right now, so if you want to hit Twok with me just give me a call. Matt.

Today with Ruben aka DJTripleR - threw em back today except for a couple.

Nice work, and thank you for the reports!! When I get to the house I'll be ready to go see what I can catch...after being at work for 7 weeks I'll be ready just to get out and probably won't give a hoot if I dont even see a fish in the boat!

It was a learning day for sure rolfmao SOooo.....for the past few days I have dug in where I know there are a few fish and really stuck to the grind. The fish are really shallow right now and running in little wolf packs. I have backed off to the 3/4oz slabapolooza slab and the smaller bait is really getting the bites. After about 9am I have had to do some trolling. Kinda a lot of boats on the lake today, so I couldn't troll until they cleared out, but we picked off a nice limit of striper in about a half hour and headed in. The water dropped 7-8 degrees and the fish should tee off any day now, I think we just need the wind to shift to the South and it will be game on. It will in the next few days, just in time for the full moon hammer

Tawakoni is nearing the 6 foot low mark. Know your surroundings. There are humps just inches under the water in front of Holiday, Wolf, Cedar, TallMan and SRA. I have had to churn mud idling to a spot or two this week. Some places by the dam can go from 25' to 1' in less than 20 yards. Even at 20mph it would be impossible to get stopped, so really take it easy and keep your eyes on your gps if you have one. Stay far from any blue areas on the map!

Got lots of days open this month. If you wanna come out and give Twok a try, just give me a call. 214-415-0166
