Good luck getting a hold of e21. I emailed them twice and called to leave a message once three weeks ago. Have not heard a thing from them so what good is the warranty. I will not have another one.

This is great, it's been a week or so since we had a carott stix thread. I was afraid the topic was going to die. I'm still using the 4 I own with no problems and still hope that the weekly rants will provide me with the oppertunity to buy some gold stix from those who get scared by the haters. Any gold (not micro) over 7" I'll take off your hands. thanks

DITTO on what Chet said. You guys must be rough on your Carrot Stix, my (5) have been no problems at all...There may be a difference in quality of e-21 Wild is what I have.

One of them 7ft MH Wild caught the fish in my display. I've only had one problem with a tip breaking on a cast though.

I got another one and tried it out today with was better luck it didn't break I caught 3 fish on it and even set the hook really hard on a stump and its still good so hopefully it will last cause I really like the rod.

About a month ago I set the hook on a stump and it exploded, right in the middle of the rod. I had this one for 2 years and caught a bunch of nice fish on it. I really like the carrot stick but I think my next rod will be a Boyd Duckett. That is the lightest rod I've ever seen.

I'd take it back and get a Duckett... I've now got three on my boat with no issues. To me its somewhat similar in design to the Carrot Stick with none of the breaking issues.

The Duckett is a much better rod than the Carrot Stick.
