I've read a lot of bad on here about them so I thought I will try them first fish this morning pitching a rattlesnake I set the hook and and the rod breaks. I've never broke a rod on the hooks set. I will be taking this back and I'm gonna get another one I really like the rod its very sensitive hopefully the next will make at least 2 fish

I just bought one last Saturday. Fished with it Tuesday, caught four slots and broke off one other time. Maybe I got one of the good ones because its still in one piece.

I have a couple of the good ones also and they are the most sensitive rod I have ever used and I have used most of the higher end rods out there with the exception of Power Tackle rods. Both of my stix are the gold series.

They say Carrot Stix fixed this issue, but you broke yours on a hookset today. You might want to check out the Abu Garcia Veritas. Its and good rod at the great price.

No I'm gonna give it one more try I bought it at Academy so if if breaks again I will bring it back and get something different. I don't have a receipt if I did I would get my money back and buy Duckett rod.

My brother in law has one of those ugly orange rods, He has a 7' medium spinning rod. He beats the [censored] out of that thing and has not broken it. That said, the grip gives him blisters, I can attest to the fact that its very uncomfortable. He has a current model (Wild I think) and ended up wrapping tape on the handle.

I love the way they snap in to three pieces. Cool rods! Why does everyone keep buying them? YOU KNOW IT'S GONNA BREAK !!!!!
