I know exactly what you mean. When they get too close, I find mtself waving my arms over to get their attention to not come in so close to us. I might as well have wake board magnets in my hands. The problem with people having fun of the water is they're only cocerned with them having fun. - Where's my paintball gun?!

How do you know its not a MMA fighter or some other flavor of bad arse? I don't like the ignorant/rude behavior either but I also have enough sense to not shoot/threaten/throw things at someone I don't know just because I am in a boat on the lake. Same goes for dealing with a rude fisherman. I saw a jet ski guy waiting for a fisherman at the ramp once and he slapped the fisherman around in front of everybody. Be careful out there.

Ever seen LOE on a jetski? Hang him you might have a problem, but then again hang me or my wife you pay us a check monthly. We obey the 50 feet law so we should be safe from all the bad a$#@*$ out there.

I have had a few run ins with jet skis, but most of my run ins come from fisherman. Way more uncourteous fisherman out there.

A few years back had 2 girls come up to me and my partner on a jetski and ask us if we wanted to hang out with them at their campsite later- my partner was married so we declined, we weren't catching anything at that spot anyways so i didn't mind at the time, but for the most part they are annoying, but i agree with Rayburn I have become fed up over the past year or two with uncourteous fishermen, there are many of them out there.

Just cast a dd 22 way out thear then when he comes by and snags the line. Make sure you loosen your drag or he will rip the rod out of your hand

All you need to do is tie on a 1oz. jig on a big heavy rod and when the idiots come by make a precise cast and he will stop.

I know what you guys are talkin about! Not to long ago my dad and I were fishing about 35ish yards away from the bank on the main part of Grapevine. All the sudden we see this old guy on a 90's jet ski with his dog in his lap, goin about 30 start comin towards us. I'm thinkin- surely he sees that we're casting towards the bank and that the REST of Grapevine lake is completely empty. Sure enough, this guy comes within flippin distance of are boat while I was givin him the "what the heck are you doin!?!" look with my arms up high and everything. Once again this was a weekday and the lake was completely empty and he had a pup in his lap so casting at him was unfortunately out of the question. He proceeded to give me a smile and a wave as he motored right over our spot and never looked back...

I like to wack the front of their jet ski's with a old 1oz jig. one of them told me that I owed him for the damage. I told him don't worry it won't happen again, that was just a warning shot, the next on is for your head. He moved off to the other side of the lake.

Do NOT cast toward them!!! Please you never know what kind of person they are. Instead, next time they come closer just point your rod toward them and squint one eye.......they will NEVER get close again.
