While bank fishing Saturday in my back yard a jet ski came buzzing by in the no wake zone and ran right over the spot I was fishing.Yesterday I saw the guy coming in and went over to ask him to respect the no wake zone and to be more careful not to run over people fishing.He responded by saying he was thirty feet away and that should be enough. HUH?? He also added that it didn't matter about the wake because he was doing the speed limit of 10mph..HUH. More like 30 and throwng out a nice wake..He just didn't have any clue about the no wake zone or any respect for keeping any distance from others.I politely suggested that in any case if he ran over the place I was fishing again that we would have a less pleasant encounter the next time.I have just plain run out of patience with people like him.When will we have a mandatory education class for morons before they get on the lake?

Your son and I had a jet ski come between us, and our marker buoy on grapevine. I could of reached out with my rod and hit(HER) with it! I hate em!!!!

Should call a GW next time that person is out there if it's your back yard, should be easy to find. Then get a lawn chair and and a beer and sit down while they get ticketed, just give him a nice smile and a big wave!

Not all Jet Skiers. My Yamaha has a no wake mode that runs it at 8mph. That is the speed found to maintain steering.

I caught a jet-skier once with my rattletrap while bank fishin, that should tell yaa how close they were to me! While the first guy was trying to get the bait outta his hand his dipshit partner thought he would cut between us. Well it didnt turn out to good for the guy with the bait in his hand, his bro got closelined when I pulled up on my rod. He fell off the back of his ski while the other guy was screamin like a girl with that ole trap diggin in deeper lol. All I could do was cut the line and hall azz while LMAO. These people are really that stupid sometimes it comes back to bite them in the weirdest way!

We were out at joe pool a couple weeks ago and a couple jet skiers rode up and started to pick my buoy up. They said they just wanted to see what it was. I was in the middle of telling them to leave it alone when the Grand Prarie police boat came over and made them leave.

i like watching them and the wakeboard boats running in what they think is deep water and its really abut 3 and realize it when they slow down just enough

We were in McPherson at Grapevine Sunday, mainly trying to avoid the wakeboard boats and jet skis. Low and behold there is a jet ski with a man and woman on it running all over the slough. I just stood there with my arms in the air. I hear the lady say "that guys waving at you". It wasn't a "Hello" wave I was giving!

I haven't had to deal with this this summer bc the water levels so low on Houston not as many guys are coming out whci is awesome.

It Gets horrible in New Mexico since you are at the only lake within a 3 hour radius.
