KVD likes competition against Skeet....about 45 seconds into it.

Everyone is always singling out KVD, he's the one to beat. I would be real happy if I beat out KVD. That is not the 1st time someone has singled KVD out and won't be the last.

You know what i hardley make post here but this one i cant keep from! Just becasue he says what he did doesnt mean anything! How many pros in other sports have said things like that before and you guys dont say anything about it! I can recall other guys saying that knocked KVD out! I like KVD AND REESE they both are class acts, i have hung out with reese before and super nice guy! To be the best you have to beat the best! But to me there is notheing wrong with what he said! So what your saying is that if KVD would have said it, it would have been just fine is what your saying and that not right! I hope Skeet wins it now!

I couldnt agree more. KVD has something I work hard to achieve everyday and that is overwhelming confidence in his fishing abilities...Reese is cocky and has a huge ego. I'm OUT on the ego deal, I see it everyday and it makes me sick

As far as having a target on KVD's heAd that's kool, but show soome class...I would want him right behind me through the whole deal so I could say I beat him every step of the way.

I hate fishing tournaments at Lake Tyler when Tom Mayne isn't there, I'll even call him and tell him to fish because if I win and he isn't in it I just don't get the same satisfaction. That's called good, clean, fun rivalry and Tom is one of my best friends and one of the best fishermen I know.

If I was up there, KVD would be my target and I am sure that he is everyone elses target too. Skeet just needs to handle it with a little class.

All I know is that Skeet REALLY doesn't want KVD mad at him. KVD may win them all next year just to make sure that Skeet doesn't win one.

Writers have a way of making a story better..see we have gone on 5 pages on the TFF due to some writer for BASS making this story out to be something....HUM? Maybe this write has a beef with Skeet?

If you think Skeet is rude or crazy go watch the interiews from the BASS Classic on the Red River...the DVD they sold...they protray him completely diffferent. He's an emotional wreck....

We can all say we would act this way or that way, but were sitting in our comfy office chairs in the A/C dreaming about fishing like these guys...these guys put every penny they have on the line to compete....hence the word compete! Emotions play a big part in competition! Consider it good or bad....but it keeps the story line going!

Wrong. First off I've never heard Kevin say that he was glad to eliminate Skeet from a competition. To win a tournament against him, sure. But to publicly say "I don't care what else happens, I knocked Skeet out of the tourney and he doesn't get to fish any more this week" would never come out of his mouth. Kevin has said on more than one occasion that he has the utmost respect for Skeet. He has far too much class to ever say such a thing, at least publicly. I've hung around them both too, Dax. I'll stand by my opinion of Skeet.

It is my opinion as well that the whole 6th fish deal was just a ploy of Skeet Reese's to gain the fan's affection and trust. I didn't have a problem with him calling KVD out, but the statement of not caring what happened the rest of the week, just shows how much of a p***y he really is. He needs to get over the fact that KVD is better than him, and shift his focus to what he needs to do differently, in order to beat KVD on a regular basis.

It's not like he called KVD a "big looooser and pack your bags KVD....you suck."

well i would be the same way if i knocked the gaint of bass fishing out! So i guess that puts me in the class with skeet, and if it does no skin off my back and iam sure he feels the same! BUt like they have said writers can turn things around and iam sure we dont yall no the truth to what was really said!
