I just started thinking about the range of age groups we have here, and the various experience levels of kayaking here on the TFF site.
I had a couple questions.
How old are you?
How long have you been kayaking?
I'll start off with,
I'm 45, and have been kayaking for about 16months. I be younger than you my brotha  Been kayaking 13 months now

49, been paddling fishing yaks for 6 or 7 years. Fished out of canoes and float tubes since I was a kid. The SOT kayak is the greatest thing since sliced bread IMO.

36, couple three months I guess. I got my kids out on a pond today, they had a great time paddling. I hope they will stick with it.

62 (last week) and never. I've been thinking about it though.

64, and I think I pretty much date back to the dugout canoe.
Seriously though I used to fish out of a flatbottom woood boat, but out of a plastic boat it's been about 6 years.
Just one more cast!

18, kayaking for about a month or two now. In any outdoor activity, these are the ones I like to see-the 'young guys'! I was lucky enough to fish/hunt/camp/boat most all of my life. I hate to see or hear when someone never got the chance to enjoy such. So when someone in their teens or younger is getting out there, it's good to see. for sure, not many people my age out there that are in love with fishing hahaha

39. 3-4 years yak fishing. 95% of all the fishing I did before the yak was at the coast during the 1-3 weeks I might get down there each year.
