What was the water level like at cottonwood? The water was about two inches below the concrete spillway.

How was the water clarity at cottonwood? Did you happen to snap any pictures?
Water clarity was about three feet. The water had a lot of broken grass floating on the water. I water was dingy in color not clear. I think the hot water is causing the grass to die, but that is my guess. The water was about two inches from the top of the concrete spilway. The lake looked very fishy but just not a good day for me. sorry no picts. broken glass floating? lol

On the opposite bank from the pier. Right were the tree branches are sticking out of the water. There's some big arse fish in Clear Lake, you just gotta get through the dinks to get to them. I mostly catch the bigger fish on wind blown banks.

Where do you all launch at clear lake? I've been there a few times and have always launched by the boat dock/pier. But I see people parked in a couple of other spots and wonder if there's a better spot to launch from.

I'm not sure if they are better, but you can launch on the north and the east side. It's so small I think anywhere is about the same.
