5 Fish all year, I think it makes it more of a big fish tournament by going with 3, A guy that catchs an 8lbr and 2 swimmers could beat a guy that caught 14-4lbrs and only weighed 12lbs with his 3 best fish. Maybe make the penalty a little higher for a dead fish would make people take a little better care. No matter what every once in a while fish will die, but in most occurences it can be avoided with proper fish care.

Ok if i only have 3 then let's make 3 fish but if i have five good ones then we can make it five! Lol The 3 fish is good on a 3 hour shoot out but not on a all day show! If your trying to get more boats the working man i thank feels better about the 3 fish if he gets off say at 5 everyday of the week and the other guy is on the water all the time i thank the working guy would feel better about coming out to fish with it just being a 3 fish shoot out but i could be wrong! !!!

Five is fine regardless of time of year IF.... the fish are cared for properly. Hopefully fish care will become a priority not only for the preservation of the resource but for the preservation of the sport. Greatly increased penalties for dead fish would be a smart first step.

It could be the same way with a 5 bass limit if you open your eyes and look at it tin the same perspective man.

5 bass Mr. Bill. Three is just an easier way to get a limit. Make us work for it.

If it has to be a 5 fish limit, make the penalty for dead fish significant enough that more people will make an effort to take better care of their fish.

I like the Five, but my son said there were lots of dead ones at the Media Cypress Tournament. People have got to take better care of their fish. We only managed a 3 fish limit. Not willingly. I was too sick to get over to the weigh-in. Was throwing up until 8:00. Had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic they gave me at the ER room for an urinary infection. Wasn't much help.

5 fish year round. 3 fish makes it a big fish jackpot. I think that we have done a fine job with catch and release to the point that it probably is necessary to take a few fish out of some of our lakes. Remember that if you weigh 5 and one dies, you still relaese 4. That's better than the guys I saw on Sunday catching 12 - 14" bass and putting them in the cooler.

Five, increase penalty for dead fish, keep all dead fish for consumption.
