3 fish tournaments r a big bass tournament n my opinion. The guy that wins will also win big bass. Look at Bass-n-Bucks on Rayburn yesterday, they had 3 fish for 17lbs and had big bass with a 9lber. Just my opinion....

5 Bass October - May 3 Bass June - September I like the Dude's formula.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

3 fish in summer months and 5 fish limits the other months. Biggest problem with 3 fish tournaments is the big bass plays a bigger role than someone having a solid limit.

I'm seeing tons of dead fish the last couple of weeks at weigh ins. Maybe 3 fish in the summer months would help. It's unreal how many bass clubs lately that just throw the dead fish back in the lake and walk away. Makes me so mad I can't see straight. You are gonna lose some fish in the summer, but you don't have to just toss em and walk off to leave em floating. Besides being illegal, it looks horrible and gives all of us bass fishermen a bad name.

3 in the summer months June - Sept would definitely be good for the fish conservation. If you only have three in the livewell they have a better chance of survival. Bottom line is no what what you do you can't hurt more than three.
You still have to beat the other guy. Sometimes the one good fish effect on a 3 fish stringer will help you other times it will hurt.
