I'm not good enough to post a report but I figure I'll give what info I got.
Finally caught something on Benbrook, 5.05lb hybrid. Caught on shad at about 25feet in 35foot deep water. Putted all over the lake and kept seeing stuff at that depth, as soon as I got to 25ft deep water the fish finder cleared, bump over 25 and they started showing up.
it's a little windy, around sunrise it started to die down some but it's still blowing out there, nice enough to be cool.
Sand bass were also schooling off and on, even on the surface which is supposedly rare for benbrook lake. I found two schools but couldn't get em to bite any aritficials.
All that said, yay my dryspell is over :P
2011 Fish Eagle Mountain Lake: Sandbass x33; PB 1.0lb 13inch. LMB x3; dinks. Benbrook Lake: Hybrid Bass x2; 5.05lb,2.5lb. Sandbass x3; small. Lake Tahoe: Mackinaw Trout x3; 6lb, 4lb, 3lb. Truckee River: Rainbow Trout x1; too small to weigh. San Francisco Bay: Leopard Shark x3; 15lb, 8lb, 7lb.

Finally caught something on Benbrook, 5.05lb hybrid.
All that said, yay my dryspell is over :P Good deal, After i saw you this morning at the marina, a small disater struck..... Left out of marina with clients, about 100 yards under way and all of a sudden had now power. The ole Verado decided to quit running, Fuel issues of some sort, Had to use the trolling motor to return to dock. Customers understood ( they are boat owners) Been told that Verado's have some sort of issue with a faulty Fuel float, Under warranty, so not that big of a deal i guess. So with me being out of town this week, boat will go to shop next week. Yall dont catch them all while im out of service

I glad you got into some fish finally. Try a 1/2oz kastmaster in chrome. I've never had a problem getting a sandbass to eat a kastmaster.
Kerry didn't you know that mercury= anchor! LOL I'm glad y'all weren't trying to outrun a storm or a boat show!!!Hahaha
it's the crapy days that make the good days that much better!!!
