On a lake here in Totoland the mouth of the river channel is silted in. There is an abundance of stumps and timber marking the edges. There is a stretch about 70 yards where it's only 1.2' on my depthfinder. I verified it with my rod tip while idling in. Along the edges it is 1.4- 2'.
Would you blow this all trimmed up ?

Piece of cake. Run that at less than one foot easy.

We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

The pucker factor is up there.. It's not something I'd recommend, but.. with people that know their surroundings, usually on their 'home lake,'.. it can be done for sure. Just realize there isn't much room for error and if that brings up serious safety hazards it's not worth it. Case by case..

If your comfortable with it. I know a guy here that has a great hole back in a creek that is beyond a gravel bar that can't be over a foot deep. He runs it and then sets down. Is shallow enough you can't even get close to going over it with a trolling motor. He's the only one I know of that fishes it.

Not no but heck no. Just to much room for error. No matter what people do it. Heck I use to do it. Not worth the risk anymore to me.

That's kinda what I figured. Definitely uneasy pucker factor for 70 yards. I blew through there with no problems.

When in doubt trim it out. Go for it.
