Depends. If I had seen it before with the water down and knew it was a flat sandy area with the stumps not in the area I was going to run then yeah I probably would.

I have seen people on lake fork blow thru spawning beds in 1-2' kicking mud everywhere. I once followed a guide thru a lot of trees and stumps and did not touch a thing. When I left the spot later at an idle , I bumped stumps all the way out. It can be done IF you know where to go.

Some of those guides on fork are amazing. I was in a creek back in march and saw a guide get up on pad and zig zag thru the trees like nothing. We went out that way idling to see if there was a clear channel to run, there wasn't. I still have no idea how he done it. It was a stump mine, I guess he just knew it really well.

If you have a hydrolic Jack plate i would go for it thumb. but then its not my boat were talking about.
