How many replies did it take before we got to the "better info" bs. Blake, you gotta be kidding me. Denny is a legend, no doubt. And if it's a flippin' bite in flooded wood, Denny's always gonna be a favorite. But it ends there.

Kevin is without question THE BEST bass fisherman alive. Roland has more championships, but not against the quality of anglers employing all the tools they have today. No way, no how is anyone even in KVD's league.

Many are close. A bunch more aren't far off. But no one has consistently excelled at the top of their game, only to get stronger for as many consecutive years as KVD.

I have a unique perspective in that I know the man and have had the honor of staying with him at a couple tournaments and hanging out at a few Classics. No one prepares harder or is more focused than Kevin. No one is as intense and no one goes to bed as early nor gets up as early. The man is the consummate professional both on the water and for his sponsors. He's a tireless worker and has earned everything he has achieved.

I respect your opinion but thats bs man

KVD puts a fear into other anglers that nobody else can do, it would be hard to fish against him in the same area and watch him pull fish out left and right....he gets into your head!

KVD is the best, my favorite though is still Jimmy Houston and Gerald Swindle just cause he is funny!

KVD is certainly the best marketed. I was in Bass Pro shop yesterday, and I'm shocked that I didn't see a KVD edition Shamwow.

If KVD put his name on the banjo minnow, everyone would have 8 boxes full of them.

Great fisherman, but I've decided not to buy anything with "KVD" on it.

It still hasn't been proven but I think our perception of "Lance Live Strong Armstrong" has changed. I haven't seen a prodigy in decades.

If all competative athletes didnt try to bend the rules we wouldnt need referees.

I actually like KVD and think he is great for the sport and all sports need a dominating force. He has worked hard to put hisself in that position.(heck we all work hard) So I guess for now I would say he might be the best. Maybe he is a prodigy, time will tell.

I disliked KVD for a long time. Just from seeing him on TV I decided he was arrogant and couldn't possibly be as good as everyone thinks he is.

Then someone got me a 3 pack of his dvds and I eventually watched them. The guy's got skills, impressive skills, and he's earned my respect. Watching him work a stretch of shoreline is damn impressive. His casting accuracy and efficiency is insane. I learned so much from his videos and immediately started catching more fish.

There are lots of great fishermen out there. I'm not sure who would be the best on any given day.

I would like to see a series where these pros go to unknown lakes with no practice or info and fish against each other from a 14ft. jon boat with a 5hp motor, paddle, no electronics.

It maybe out of the dark ages but it would be nice to see the outcome.

i like the fact that, that guy does not miss any fish ! when he gets a bite it is as good as in the boat.and when he gets a biggin he can give a fishing siminar not panic! knowing he needs that fish and still put em in the boat.god forbid if its the final day and one of his competors is fisshing in his area and they are watching him catch em one after another. then he has them, right where he wants them. thats when you start hear him start screaming YEA YEA and the fist PUMPS.DONT FORGET HIS FAVORITE SAYING. LIGHTS OUT! YOU REMEBER THAT SAYING FROM THE LAST BASSMASTER CLASSIC LOL!

That's funny. His skills and 6th sense make him the best. He's a a fishing machine. He can go at a unbelievable pace all day.

He is one of those one in a generation type of talent. Jordan, Gretzky, Nicklaus, .....
