For the love of someone's God, please be careful googling for a pattern on the Fur Burger! I didn't name it that. It's up there with the merkin pattern. I worked off the sbs below. The original calls for some sort of custom dubbing blend w/ very long fibers. I used all craft fur on mine, and added lead where the eyes are. heres the link Clicky I have yet to test these, I'm also curious how the rabbit will work. I wrapped a big chunk of short marabou on the shank before I tied in the rabbit, hoping to keep them moving around. The spooky shad is a quick, fun, and painless tie. It also looks pretty dang cool with minimal effort. Here's the link for that one... spoooooky Thanks for the encouragement!
Let us hope that the bass do not find the equivalent of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

You have become quite the prolific tier Mr. Bug. I really like the mylar body on that guy.
Hope you can get out and start swinging those bad boys soon!

That barred firetiger rabbit is just too cool. I may have to build one of those zonkers and "clouserfy" it. Did you put rattles in those?

those are really nice flies bass bug; i guess your injuries are getting a little better. I'm wondering about the different color dot on the big topwaters that have the legs running thru them. Are those inserts?-p-

i've been busy tying (when not having surgeries) and ya'll thought I only tied poppers, well might be the only thing I tie well, but I do tie udder stuff, how bout' a big double bunny & some udder zonkers, booger, popper, diver, etc i like the fish skull things okay, but instead of buying their "tail" I traced it from the computer & cut my own from ultra suede

These represent my first attempt at a clouser type fly and my first attempt at a popper. The feathers on the popper came from ducks from duck season, and the 'clouser' is made of squirrel tail fur from a squirrel I shot. Money's tight, so I try to use 'materials' from animals I hunt. I just had my sister give our black rabbit a haircut today for some black dubbing. We'll see how that turns out . Both were tied on a #4 streamer hook. I'm still new to tying, but I'm having a blast with it. -Tom

Ok, so I am a newbie at tying, the two with yellow are my 2nd and third that I have ever tied, the firsts one is in the belly of a perch. I caught 4 on it before it was eaten permanately. The purple one is from YV_Fish, and he has been teaching me. It took me about 30 min each on mine and it took him about 5 min on his. We are headed out to see how they do. JR
