Yall might think I'm crazy but I LOVE the Berkley Cherrywood. 7' medium is very light and sensitive. $20 at Academy.

I own both the Duckett and KVD cranking rods I don't think you can go wrong with either one. The Duckett rod is much lighter, but the KVD feels more comfortable in my hands and is very well balanced. I use the Duckett for square bills and the KVD for shallow cranks. No problems using either rod all day.

Try the new H20 Ethos Crankin rod. Love mine. Not a bad weight for a composite rod. Can buy two for the dollars you want to spend.

I throw more squarebills than anything, but I would like one that could pull multiple duty if need be...Thinkin' I would like to try the Mojo Glass. What say you?

The Mojo Glass is a great rod for squarebills. Caught a lot on them in the past 2 months

Just get a CastAway XP3 Long Range Launcher LRC76-X and be done with it. Great rod, USA made built in Texas.
They are nice rods and perfect for the broad range of crankin depths and sizes.

... Long Range Launcher ...

The David Fritts rods from American Rodsmiths are the best cranking rods I have ever used. The Skeet rods aren't bad either.

I've got a Skeet Reese crankin rod ill sell ya for 70. I think it's 7 ft or 7'3" about 3 months old. Just dont use it as much as I thought I would. Caught 4 fish the first time I used it throwing a square bill :-)
