Been through a couple of rods now looking for that special rod that I can bond with. Used to have a BPS Rick Clunn Crankin stick. Loved it....broke it. They don't have them anymore and I can't find anything that has performed for me since. I got a 130 bucks. I throw more squarebills than anything, but I would like one that could pull multiple duty if need be...Thinkin' I would like to try the Mojo Glass. What say you?

I would look into the KVD line of cranking sticks that have come out. They seem to hold up real well, and are within your price range.

The 7ft moderate would be a good one for square bill cranks.

Hey skeetr, the mojo's arn't bad! And only $100! I'd recommend the 7' mh fast tip. I have two, matched with a revo's. They work well with lipless, cranks, and even texas and carolina-rigs. JMO.

Academy's has 7' Medium fast Shimanos for $12.99 each. You could get ten of them with a $130.00

I used the KVD rods this week and whacked them with these rods.

The 7'10" deep rod is crazy good for the price.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

skeetr,
I dont think they are heavy as in weight at all. I would go with the 7'10 though. I even through my 2 oz. spinnerbait on this rod; the 7'10 is by-far my favorite. the 7'4 i like throwing chatterbaits or smaller cranks.
