I bought 3 jugs of the cjs monster bait i know the shad kind works anyone had any experience with this kind

Yeah I had some real good luck with it on Tawakoni. It looks and smells a lot like Danny Kings and since the DK's people have decided to change their bait, it is a viable option.

academy has the smaller jars. Olsens maybe for the gallon size.

What about the crawdad flavor? I bought a jar bacause Academy didn't have shad flavor. Surely it will work when fishing riprap

I have used all flavors, and they all catch fish, stay on the hook long enough to chatch em.

anyone know a place in austin that has bigger buckets than academys? that little jar only lasts about a day
