I had Clay Lueckemeyer of Katy area and his cousin Clyde of North Carolina out on Gibbons today. It was their first time to be on Gibbons. The winds were finally just right. First spot was a little slow, boating 4 fish. We moved, switched from tight line to cork, and the bite was on. They limited out by 8:45am and they did catch and release for another 3 hours. When we left the lake they had boated 118 catfish, of which they got to take 50 home for a fish fry before Clyde heads back to North Carolina. All fish caught in 2-3 foot water, mostly under cork, using CJ's Monster Punch Bait.
