We did have a line of storms come in about 10:00 last night.  We got a pretty good amount of rain, and unfortunately we did get some hail also.  It's 55 degrees this morning, and not a bit of wind.I'm sure the wind will pick up very soon so enjoy the morning.

Well good we needed the rain but I'm glad we are getting a nice looking weekend. Was afraid it would be a wash out cause April showers brings May flowers. I set up my camper last night and saw there are already several kayakers camping.

It sure is cold feeling for 53 degrees!!!!!! I'll be wearing my waders over my shorts tomorrow morning go sure!!!!!
I sure wish I could have taken off today. I'm about to step inside to start my work day. Man...... This is going to be a loooong day!

I'm at the oak point area at site #125 come by and say hi, I got the two hobies at my spot. Oh I see your nice kayaks in the parking lot spiny  Btw the wind is horrible can't even imagine going out on the water today unless it calms down

Y'all be careful on the water if your out there today. I just pulled up the forecast and it looks pretty rough for today. Hopefully tomorrow it will settle down some.
...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING... A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF NORTH TEXAS TODAY. STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WINDS SUSTAINED AT 30 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 OR 55 MPH ARE EXPECTED TODAY. WINDS WILL BE STRONGEST BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 11 AM TO 4 PM AND FOR LOCATIONS WEST OF THE I-35 CORRIDOR. THESE WINDS WILL DIMINISH BELOW 25 MPH AFTER SUNSET TONIGHT. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... STRONG WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH...WITH GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH ARE FORECAST TO OCCUR. THESE WINDS MAY MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT.
