Not sure about yesterday or Monday, but last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Amistad was on fire -

A little tip use anything watermelon candy and dip dye the tail chartuse. Caught fish on 7.5 in wave worm watermelon candy, Zoom ol Monsters watermelon candy, zoom flukes and mag flukes, and if you want a ton of bites but no large fish go with a zoom watermelon candy trick worm. We caught a ton of fish in 8-10 feet and a few 4lbrs out deeper in 15-25. Nothing huge but numbers to boot.

If we would have stayed deeper we may have caught more big ones

caught 50+ sunday using shacky head jigs w/ zoom finesse green pumpin & wacky worming a watermelon red trick worm shallow where they had access to deeper water seemed to be working. nothing huge but lots of 1 1/2 to 3 lbrs.

You know how sometimes it's hit and miss, Amistad is hit and hit right now and watermelon red worms seems to be the bait of choice. Good luck....but you won't need it....

try the back of san pedro creek with big senkos and swim baits. you should have no problem finding fish.

I posted a report from last weekend in the Bass Fishing section if you are interested. We ended up with 82 bass in 3 days with a 7.5lb as our largest.

A big thanks to "South TX Legend" on his watermelon candy and dip dye the tail chartuse suggestion. Wife and I spent Friday/Saturday on Amistad and we have never caught so many fish, Cow Creek to Marker 26.

Glad you caught some OK Fine.

Seemed everywhere I went two weeks ago that color combination was key. Caught fish all over the place. Nothing big, but find brush or grass and throw a Watercandy dip dyed and hold on.

Go launch at Box Canyon! There are lots of places to hide from the wind up there.
