Bought em and have yet to try them. After loosing several big fish in tournaments last year on treble hooks I bought some.....
I'll be using them starting this month....

Yea I have had too many fish come off and when I saw these hooks I got pretty excited!!

Wouldn't your line twist before your crank bait got into "the locking position". Is that really why fish get off more on a crank bait? I always thought it was just due to the leverage of the larger baits. Not it "locking up".

I guess it all depends on how you hook the fish. Not sure. Still seems like a solid idea and good to have on to me!

I have a few Randy McAbee crankbaits that have them. I haven't noticed a difference one way or the other on hook-up ratio compared to the other crankbaits I use. I try to replace most of my crankbait hooks with KVD trebles, but thought I would keep the spintechs on for comparison purposes. I still need to catch more fish on the McAbee for a fair comparion, though. I've only been fishing with them for about a month.

i used them on large line thru swimbaits and never had one come off normally i loose a few with a regular treble. i'm a believer now.
