I have my little ziplock bag of emergency "I give up" baits that generally include downsized plastics of passive colors with few appendages.
I consider dropshotting to be one of the go to techniques for putting fish in the boat. I prefer to bump crankbaits off rocks and such, and steal the fish that just missed my partner's spinnerbait or jerkbaits, but the small T-rigged finesse baits often get it done.
I don't own a chatterbait. I fish with a guy who's a chatterbox, that's close enough. I don't have much confidence in large swimbaits, so I don't own any. I know they catch fish, but I have a hard time fishing 10 hours for one or two bites.
Everything else is fair game. I don't throw everything but I would fish it just the same either way. I need to start throwing different things but it's hard to move away from what works. I guess that's part of the learning curve.

Recommendations from pro anglers with all kinds of patches on their shirts. +1 haha amen! They will sell you anything so they can get a dollar from a sponsor! Had a buddy talk to a Abu Garcia Rep a few days back... We both knew waaaaay more about the reels than this guy. We have only been using them less than a year... Makes me wonder how much some of these "professionals" really know?! I mean small example of the conversation... My buddy asked what the difference was between models made in China and ones made in Korea, he had no idea they were made there. GIVE ME A BREAK!

In this order...Hate them all!!
Carolina Rig-I hate them. Boring to fish and you have to tie three knots for one boring bait.
Drop Shots- Make a mess in your rod locker with that stupid weight swinging around or while on your deck.
Shaky Heads- I hate them. I can throw them if it is the absolute last thing that will catch a fish but I hate the light line and small hooks and the egg beaters you have to throw them on
Spinnerbaits- I have not caught a fish on one since like 98!!!!! I like a chatterbait much better

tube jigs, I even used to stuff them with fizzies and alkiselsers back in the day. I guess I fished in to many cold muddy lakes, aint my deal.
I even took my tube jigs out of my boat.
Thanks, Billy
