10 to win? At least it rhymes...that's just a 1/5 of a two team limit.
Does anyone know the origin of 7 fish in tourneys? It's easier to keep 7 fish alive vs 10. Especially in the hot summer months.

I think if we go on the honor system, and try to keep them alive, for possible release if thats the anglers choice, it would be good, but to not require they be alive would take alot of pressure off and make it more enjoyable, nothing would suck more than losing because a fish died.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

my thoughts behind the live are dead fish reasoning are this.. if someone decides they are going to cheat, the only way to catch them will be with a lie detector test. theres too many ways to do it, stashing fish on the lake, secret compartments in boats, people dropping fish off to them, and on aond on. My recommendation would be this,.. It would be the tournament directors or anyone elses discretion to have a lie detector test administered at any time. If the tournament director decides to administer it, it comes out of club funds, if an individual wants one, he pays for it. If the results are that someone is caught cheating, they are banned for life, and we put the word out on them for many moons.

I really would like to make this on the honor system, as even with live fish there are ways to cheat. I know I sweated my rear off last year at LOP with Kevin, as we caught some real nice ones early. It also stunk to see Ahn lose a fish 1.5+ fish that had just checked out in front of us.

Theres lots of advantages to having our own club, and 1 is that we can do things how we want to do, not how everybody else does it. Im really looking forward to these tourneys, .. the planning and preperations beforehand, the butterflies in the belly in the morning before the tourney starts, the nerves going intil you catch that first fish.. were some lucky folks to be able to do this. I was really worried fishing my first few tourneys, to get skunked, and it did happen, but Its never going to keep me from fishing one.. a wise man once told me,, that the best fighters of all time.. were the ones that werent afraid to get beat. they were champions in thier spirit and heart, and a physical loss or 2 would not devestate them.

Lucas/Steve, let me know what you need me to do. I'll get my scales in next week to get the certification updated. Let me know if you need them for the tournies.
Keep on fishing.
