Call my crazy but what is a yellow bass? I see a crappie, a LMB and a whitebass/sandbass.

Some of us should eat the LMB to prevent over population. Way too many get thrown back to maintain a proper balance. Eating them also helps the crappie population. It'd be different if the clubs and others didn't catch and release.

I dont eat fish, but pond managers will tell you that you can have 500 1# bass, or 100 5# bass..... but not both.

if you want bigger fish, you need to harvest a few.... just throw the bigger ones back!

I think the yellow bass eat as good as crappie. Real firm, white meat. Tawokani has some big ones.
I would like to see a pic of that tarpon.
