Nice fishes. Must be a great little pond. I once caught a Tarpon at a small city pond in Mesquite. Now that's really wild!! Where the heck could it come from?

Call my crazy but what is a yellow bass? I see a crappie, a LMB and a whitebass/sandbass.

Some of us should eat the LMB to prevent over population. Way too many get thrown back to maintain a proper balance. Eating them also helps the crappie population. It'd be different if the clubs and others didn't catch and release.

Call my crazy but what is a yellow bass? I see a crappie, a LMB and a whitebass/sandbass. Its a yellow bass. Here is a picture of a yellow next to a white bass.

I dont eat fish, but pond managers will tell you that you can have 500 1# bass, or 100 5# bass..... but not both.
if you want bigger fish, you need to harvest a few.... just throw the bigger ones back!
