Do it! People will talk no matter what, if you are doing good or bad, they will talk!

Let them get "romantic" with themselves!

If you don't, I would gladly accept the thought of my entry fees paid. I would do not only on the shirt, but on my old truck too. Heck he just might let you use a company truck to use on tournament day.

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.

Sign me up!

As long as it's not for some topless bar that your wife is gonna get upset over... although mine would probably may make the concession if it leaves more money for kitchen toys.

Sounds like from your fishing assessment you could use all the help you can get... fish don't laugh loudly... and they won't know you're not a pro until you get 'em in the boat.

When it's all said and done, chances are, more will be said than done.

Who cares what you look like, if they pay your fees.......but I see why you hesitate....we have to admit there is a relationship between 'fan taste' and the ridiculous loudness of certain professional sports jerseys......Bass Tourn Fishing, NASCAR and the WWF all are similar in that they didn't regulate themselves and now wear the most overly commercialized garb in all of sports. And if someone paid a BASS Elite Angler to tatoo 'Tracker or BASSPROSHOPS' across their forehead, you can bet they would.

The PGA, ATP, NFL and NBA each figured out long ago they could get the most sponsorship monies by being tasteful and only wearing a single simple 2"x 2" Nike swoosh or Adidas or other corporate logo.

Heck if he wants to pay for it, do it. Sometimes the advertising does wonders whether you win or not. For instance, if you are the most courteous guy at that ramp, people remember stuff like that.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him had better take a look at the American Indian".

And you have to remember if people are looking at you questioning your jersey. The advertisement just worked.

Go for it. I did, and I am by no means a pro... only been bass fishing for 18 months or so, got an old boat, got a newer but not new truck. I got free tackle and fishing accessories every month last year, just for wearing a jersey with a certain company's logo on it. I had another company pay for the jersey, in return for putting their logo across the back. I had so much tackle I was giving it away. Fishing for money is fun... fishing for money when someone else is picking up the tab is even better!

And forget what the other guys think... given the opportunity, they'd jump on it too!
