Do it and who cares what other people think. That's a great deal you got going. I'd fish naked to get entries paid for. But no one would probably want to be my partner

Start now on how to market any company you might work for pictures, articles and so on, If your friend is paying your entry fees for wearing a jersey and looking professional this is a big bonus. Most fishermen just get discount on product. I started with a small lure company in the north not much in return just loved his lures and won allot of money on them, did the work marketing his company and it grew, in return with the fishing world being small other companies asked for help in my area. which has lead to other things..hard work will be rewarded. And never worry about the other guy.

Please, Please, Please.

If you're wearing my company's shirt, don't be one of those guys that answer every question with:

Pink buzzbaits in 50' of water.

KPBass is right. You've just made the transition from tournament angler to "ambassador". It can open up a world of opportunity for you.

Thanks for all the feedback, I don't think this will put me on my way to being a fishing star by anymeans (still have to catch the fish!) but you all have answered my question. guess i will wear a fishing jersey advertising for my friend. maybe i will see some of you around this summer!

J Rankin I see you work for Spring ISD, are you in admin, former coach?
