YOU CAN TELL ITS FAKE BECAUSE HE SHOWS IN THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO HE HAS ALL FOUR OF THEM AND THEN THE NEXT CUT IS HIM CATCHING THEM AND IMMEDIATELY RELEASING THEM. DOESN'T MAKE A WHOLE LOT OF SENSE.

Lake Austin does get a lot of pressure. The lake has filled back up to get your boat on. As many of y'all have seen Jack Waldrop caught some good fish there on Monday. Contrary to beliefs the video was not shot last May. Jack does not like the way the video turned out and has asked Lee to pull the video. Jack also didn't see the finished product until it was out in circulation for everyone to see. There won't be any grass in Austin for a year or so because of the draw down. The docks will hold some fish but look for drop off and rocks as well. What do you mean he didnt like it?!?!?! He was the one holding the rod and making up the "OH MY GOD ITS ANOTHER GIANT BS!!!" He was the one who called the guy to come out and video the fish "HE" RE-HOOKED so HE could reel'em back in and try to convince the viewing public that they were caught live on camera!!! What "finished product" was there to see, the whole production was a fake and he should ashamed for trying to push this BS trash like he did...No one is taking away from the catch, if he even did it, but the production of the video and the mishandling of 4 giant bass was right up there with one of the dumbest stunts I have seen in years!!! You're right, I never seen a staged fishing show ever. They are all done legit. All the fish were let go and swam away. SkeeterMark, I have never seen a fishing show that was staged in such a blatantly obvious manner. And as for the fish swimming away, we'll never know but with all the mishandling they went through, I will almost guarantee you that none of them are alive today. Most folks don't realize that the cold-water months is when a bass is most susceptible to disease, infection and death from mishandling. Mr. Waldrop should be ashamed of himself, not only for his blatant disregard for the truth, but for the manner in which he handled four very rare LMB specimens. There's really nothing you or anyone else can say that will change that.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Did you all notice the one biggest fish that was laying on its side, furthest to the left, permantely just kept his mouth open and its fins were not moving? I think it had been dead for awhile.

So, a fishing question to get back on topic. Is the lake at full pool, and if so, what does the rising water level do to the bass?

No the video has been taken down by them guess they got tired of people laughing.
But yes the lake is at full pool all ramps are open. The lake recored was just released back today. They will not be pulling to much current through the lake now just fyi.

The fish was caught by Tj I know he is on this sight some where not sure of his name on here. Caught it on a crank bait in about 4 feet of water. I know if you do some seaching on here you can find the full story.
And no we did not hook the fish back up to a rod and try and land her again when it was released just saying.
