I just picked up the last 2 WF had Jay..they were rh models anyway. I bet they would sell the display.
These are pretty nice for $30. We will see how they hold up?

I just got back from the Academy in Grapevine. The actual code i PLC150. They had them behind the counter, not on display. You will have to ask for them. They had plenty in stock.

Do some Academys not have everything others do? Every time someone posts a clearance/sale on here I go to our Academy and they don't have anything I ask for.

Well I was lookin for this pinnacle reel and the other day I went out looking for the eagle 480. Talked to a few different people and they said they didn't have either.
I'm gonna have to put some new electronics on my dad's boat soon.

Pretty sure they are just items that are being moved out, so once they are gone they don't restock them. And yeah some academy stories have a lot better inventory. I know the pinnacle reels have been marked down for awhile, so maybe they just sold out. Always hit or miss on academy sale items.

Man I really hate that Academy does not have an online store. I would absolutely love to pick a few of these up. Need to get my son a reel or two of his own but not an Academy within an hour of Lake Fork  I have been told by a guy I know who works for Academy corporate that they plan on having an online store up and running in the next few months. Don't be playing with my emotions!!! I lived not 1/2 mile from an academy for years. Now I am 30-45 mins away from one... Would LOVE an online store!

+1 on the Longview academy. This store never has anything you want in stock. I told the store manager about it one day and he did not think there was a problem. I then walked him through the entire fishing section showing him all of the stock outs. When I pointed out the watermelon red baby brush hogs he had been out of for a month he said zoom was just a tiny company working out of the back of a house and could not keep up. I told him that in east Texas running out of this bait is like running out of toilet paper. They continue to keep the same junk people do not buy and disregard the stock outs. I hope someone with Academy can get it right in Longview.

The Waco Academy must be run by the same kind of manager, they have been completely out of Segar and Berkley flouro for a month or more.

Hey TTUBA, just came from the Lubbock store and they have about 10 boxes of the PLS 150's behind the counter for $29.99 apiece. I got two.

I grabbed a couple in Grapevine for the heck of it. They had 1 box left at about 7pm. Also grabbed one of those thick warm sweatshirt type carhart jackets marked down from 59.99 to 19.99. Im glad the wife was out of town. Thanks guys for the heads up
