The Waco Academy must be run by the same kind of manager, they have been completely out of Segar and Berkley flouro for a month or more. I've been to several academy's and their low right now. It's academy's buyers fault

Hey TTUBA, just came from the Lubbock store and they have about 10 boxes of the PLS 150's behind the counter for $29.99 apiece. I got two. WTH?!?  This is ridiculous. Every time I ask one the guys at the counter for something they look at me like I'm stupid asking, "What's a Pinnacle reel?" These guys must not like me coming into their store every day or something.

I went in for that 480 as well, too bad they didn't have any, would've been nice to have a 2nd graph. I know they still got plenty of the cranks left on sale. They posted price reduction stickers on the Tru-Tungsten racks, yet they've been empty for almost 2 weeks lol.

i stopped by the laredo store and they weren't marked down, still $80.

i stopped by the laredo store and they weren't marked down, still $80. Did u scan it? Sometimes they don't mark them down, but they will still ring up on sale. They also had a bunch of misc junk on sale at the one in midland. A lot of the boat wash and detailing products were marked down to like 2 bucks

no i didn't scan it, it was behind the glass, but i'll try if i go back.
has anyone used these reels before? i'd like to pick up two or three for backup reels for other people.

Yeah I bought one. They also have their okuma spinning reels half off. They aren't displayed but will scan that way. I need to quit going by there, these "sales" add up! Lol

they have 4-5 left on the shelf in Conroe. They even have them out on display for $30. PLS150 is the model number.

I got one yesterday at the Cherry Lane store in Ft Worth. They had several left behind the counter. They also had the Diawa H153 Tierra on sale for $99. It is usually about $130.

Man I really hate that Academy does not have an online store. I would absolutely love to pick a few of these up. Need to get my son a reel or two of his own but not an Academy within an hour of Lake Fork  I have been told by a guy I know who works for Academy corporate that they plan on having an online store up and running in the next few months. Unfortunately I've been hearing that for years.
