I like the part about the eye drops. Hope somebody is developing that now!!!
Its up to us to make sure they can hunt and fish. Ya just remember that those big sun glasses do more than just protect your eyes from the sun, they also keep un wanted hooks out of your eyes

In 2050 bass fishing will be the first and last thing on our minds. The U.S. will no longer exist but instead will be a state of a new unified world government. It will become war torn shortly after the people appoint a man from the east as the first world leader. The world wide civil war will break out between those who support the unified gov and those who appose it. Half of the worlds population will lose their jobs and be forced to steal or borrow food from friends and strangers. The pleasures of life like tv, internet, and sports will diminish. Hunting and fishing will become an even more popular commodity, but only for the sake of survival. Those who know how to hunt and fish will live better lives than most for the simple fact that they can provide for themselves, their family, and others.
This seems like a crazy thought, but that's what i think of when i hear the words 2050. Every superpower that has ever existed has also fallen, as will the U.S. We already have a worldwide economy, so who's to say that we wont have a worldwide currency and leader by 2050? Totally not fishing related, but Just something to think about.
Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment...

Since were dreaming anyway here is a scenario that would suck...what if there is no bass fishing in 2050 in the formerly great country known as Texas...because, the people of the former God fearing country turned their back on God and allowed the devil to convince enough of the American people through liberalism and socialism and moral decay that God had no choice but to turn His back on the once great country...first the government collapsed because the world no longer accepted it's monetary system, then the military was over run by foreign forces all over the planet because sexual immorality had been allowed to run rampant and God would no longer protect it, and all the poor citizens could not defend themselves because the socialist-liberals had taken away their guns so all were enslaved, murdered and country was completely destroyed...The End
Sorry didn't mean to get all political and religious on ya...LOL this sounds a lot like the Westboro Baptist church

I've never been to that church so I couldn't comment on that, but I'm sure anyone who loves the Lord and studies the Word knows what is in front of us...regardless of your religious beliefs the fact is the prophesy in the Bible has been 100% accurate to date ! so you can bet your life the rest is before us - that is why Romans 10:9 is soo important in these last day's - God bless us all !
Incase you're Bible ain't handy...Romans 10:9 (New American Standard Bible) 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
I'll get off my soap box now... thank's

I'll get off my soap box now... thank's I'm not saying you have been to the church or share their retarded beliefs. But what you said is basically the same things they do. They are the ones who protest at funerals and whatnot saying god is killing soldiers for various reasons including what you said above.

not my words... the Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a greater sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, Gods forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Philippians 4:13).
not my word's...His and He is the final Judge in the matter - I don't have a say...

I'm just saying. Somebody being gay doesn't involve me and and as I've said before I don't get caught up on that stuff. If they are wrong, I believe they will pay for it not us. Sorry OP.

lots of good sounding futuristic things in the post and i would like to see some of them come to light but unfortuantely imo i dont even think the country will still be here in 2050 considering the current trend of things, man we have really declined as a country, again imo

I was trying to invision this as I read it up till you said "Park your truck" all these technicial advances yet we still drive trucks? When are we ever gonna get to the beam me up Scotty? Then we are on our lake of choice in a blink of an eye.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.
