As part of my goal to learn how to actually catch blues during the winter, I will be keeping picture logs of my trips. This is entry two from 1-30, another unsuccessful trip with the only catch being a small but fat and hard channel.

Nothing wrong with Grapevine, but Lewisville is on fire. Take a look at the fish we've been catching all month long. Not a lot of big fish, but some solid action on box fish and a few slot fish in the mix.

Man Bobby you are really tearing it up. Im kind of new to the blue catfishing game. where is the best place to look for them in the winter? i have lowrance fishfinder that seems to find fish. i just dont know how to identify catfish. any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
