Tackle Wharehouse or Bass Tackle Depot online free shipping and have good prices if one dont have it the other will.

BPS two Houston stores are sorely lacking in bass tackle. Academy is better. Tacklewarehouse, BTD or LFT Lures get 99.9% of my business.

Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

I like both. I've got several Academy stores, and the BPS Outdoor World is about 15 minutes away. Dick's is next door to BPS, plus there's many Walmarts as well. Sometimes I mail-order stuff, but it's not my first choice.

Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

IF the bass pro does not have what you are looking for. Let a manager know what they are lacking and they will get it in for sure! i worked there for two years and i ordered stuff for myself and it came in two days or less

Academy has better specials, so thats also where I shop.

you people that complain about prices are silly...

big stores (BPS, Cabelas, Academy even) are most useful for one thing....closeouts.

Buy stuff that's worth more than they're selling it for and you get to use stuff for free or make money in the longrun.

I was actually told by a BPS manager that if the company couldn't provide a semitruck full they didn't sell it at BPS. That leaves way too many good brands off the shelves. If I want something ordered in I'll have it sent to my house from an online dealer.
