Nope. I must say that I usually enter every tournament with the same baits tied on all the time. I will fish my main 2 baits until the fish prove me wrong, or I have a limit and I need to make some changes to up my weight.
Maybe I need to be more versatile, but I usually tend to make the lake adapt to me, instead of the other way around. I choose to fish areas of the lake that fit my style of fishing. Is this good or bad, I don't know. Could I do better if I changed my style to fit the lake better, maybe. My experience tells me that I do better when I fish the areas that fit my style.

Prefishing narrows my lures. Before a tournament I re-spool line and tie em up. At the lake I'll adjust my go-to lures depending on the weather and water. My wife knows the ritual.

Yea I tie on a few baits but only on 2-3 rods. I can tie a bait pretty fast so I don't need 15 rods rigged & ready.

I rig all my rods the night before I think that this insures that all the knots are i tip top shape. If i rig up the rods a week before there is always thime for the knots to weaken. Im a little concious about my knots though. I also dont rig soft plastics on the hook untill the morning off to insure that the plastics dont have any forign sents or oils on them.

Fish your strength, or what you have the most confidence in. Then match the area of the lake to your style or strength. Start shallow and go deep or vice versa. Learn to to trust your electronic's and understanding what they are telling you or not. Good catching!

I have 3 rods with my go to lures ready, and 3 with what the fish should be hitting. Tie my stuff on the night before to prevent knot slippage. If you know what they should be hitting and know what you can catch the feesh on, you'll be good to go.

Most people pre-fish and do so using thier favorite or confidence method, then rig a dozen rods with different and duplicate rigs (I do this too). The the tournament starts and you end up throwing you typical confidence baits which usually amounts to 2-3 rods that you used during the pre-fishing.

I have a pretty good idea based on the seasonal pattern and weather what areas and depths I will be targeting. Therefore, I have all my rods rigged accordingly other than soft plastics on hooks.

Most of the time the night before a tournament I will catch a couple of 10 pounders while trying to go to sleep. It takes about an hour or so to limit out then I finally fall asleep.

Man I thought I was the only one that did that kind of stuff. I usually don't get the 10's but I will have figure out how to get a limit or I cannot sleep.
