I'm sure this question has been asked and answered, but I have gone all the way back to july and don't see it. I got on some really good fish in a creek yesterday but lost a bunch of corks. I want to use the braid with a leader setup and need to be sure I have a good smooth line.

No reason to lose corks use a slip bobber with a red bead just big enough at the bottom so it cant slide through your cork ,it will be tied 15 inches above your hooks/jigs which one can use any sort of knot from inline to plain jane knots, making sure your leaders are lighter line than on your reel , it becomes a true (leader) so only the hook or jig on the leader breaks off ,no need to go to braid and get a leadhead stuck in the rocks then having to cut off 50 feet of line or move the boat,, i have premade leaders wrapped on styrofoam when fishing like that .. good luck

At 45.00 for 300 yards, it better be. Looking for something that will come off of a spinning reel. I might try that stuff, but I am looking for options.

I use Berkley Fireline Fused in 10 lb in lime green (fades to white). Absolutely no flaws in it. It takes a day or two to break in it seems. Good Stuff!

Your post is what led me to ask the question. Thanks, that is exactly what I wanted.

I like power pro and love it but, have yet to try the stren that BigMac uses. Great post on the slip bobber step up BigMac.
