Well glad it's taken care of! Those little fish always go nuts and it always seems like it happens with treble hooks!

thats the way to do it is ouch it back through and cut the barb off...the least painful way....haha unless you get em stuck straight in the back of your head like me lmao

My big brother was running down the dock and got a massive saltwater hook in his toe and my dad had to push it through a little more and then cut the barb off then just slide it out.

I did the same thing a few years ago. Talk about ruining a fishing trip.

Ouch! Done that before, except I had to run it through like that to clip.

Unfortunately, I've put my family and friends through the same ordeals. Sent two of three bars on a treble hook through my buddies head last year, that was fun to push the barb through the top of his scalp to clip the hooks. Craig, at least you caught a fish when the incident happened. Just a little bit of fish revenge lol.

LOL I can totally relate to this. Watched a buddy of mine catch a spook in the eye after snagging it on a stump and trying to pull the jonboat over to the stump with his rod to unhang it. two barbs in the eyeball with the third bulging under his eyelid but no penetration. The only reason it didnt blind him was because it went in the side and around his cornea instead of through it. We had a 1/2 mile walk back to the trucks, he spent half of it crawling in shock..

Also when I was about ten a girl got wild on her back cast and actually hooked me through both my lips lol. Went in the bottom lip and out the top pinning them together. She then proceeded to yank on it after not looking and assuming it was hung in the brush behind her. I have pics of both but can't find them at the time being...
