I really wasn't planing on fishing today. But when I saw we had some cloud cover...I figured I better give it a shot. Was able to add 4 Hybrids to the board today. Caught some huge Sandbass also with one being 16.75". Best Hybrid this afternoon was 26" along with a 23.75" .... 20.00" .... 19.00". When the wind died down so did the fish. Plus I cut the heck out of my finger on one of the Hybrids.

Great job hRt!
Maybe after a dead two weeks things are gonna pick up some. One other thing, I don't know about y'all, but I think hRt needs to get called back to work real soon! LMAO!
Seriously though, he called me when he caught the first one, but I was headed to the big bridge to crappie fish. He called me again after the second hybbie and some bigass sandbass, but I was determined to put some crappie fillets in the freezer, which I did get a mess.

Here's how the "hRt Big Hybrid Contest" currently stands;

Big Fish
1 headsRtails 26.00" 10/17/10
2 headsRtails 23.75" 10/17/10
3 Lonestar Proud 23.125" 10/16/10
4 headsRtails 22.375" 10/9/10
5 headsRtails 20.00" 10/17/10
6 headsRtails 19.00" 10/17/10
7 Lonestar Proud 18.675" 10/14/10
8 headsRtails 18.50" 10/16/10

3-Fish Cumulative Total
1 headsRtails (3 fish) 72.125"
2 Lonestar Proud (2 fish) 41.8"

Had a short window to get out and make a mid-day trip today. Caught some nice Sandies along with one Hybrid. Plus a catfish and a Blackbass. Forgive my picture for the Hybrid...I thought I had it framed good..just alittle off I see as I got home to up-load it.

Caught a 22.25" this evening at 6:25 PM on a Freestyle slab. Fish was chunky, hit the slab and fought like it thought it was a big fish lol.

Yeah Russ, you had a good day..60 to 80 Sandbass, 18 Crappie plus 6 throw backs, several Blackbass and a Hybrid on the way in. Well over a 100 fish easy.

I'm only going to add one Hybrid to the board today. I think I caught 15 or 16 but just about all of them were 19" to 21" with 2 over 22 inches. Both were 22.50" but heres a picture of one of them for the board. I have no idea how many big Sandies were caught...just bunch is all I know. On the water by 2:30 and off by 6:00 PM. I cried uncle is all I can say!
22.50" @ 2:40 PM Rattletrap

22.50"

Process area of the boat..it needs washing I think...

A 1/4 of a mile in any direction these 19" to 22" Hybrids with Sandbass were schooling for about 3 hours. I would say things are in full swing for the Fall.

I'm gonna be easy...very easy about this. These are the best ones for today of 18 total on the Hybrids. Though I did have 3 that were 22" inches. The rest were between 19" and 21+" inches.

Oh no hRt, post all that you have time to take pictures of!
You need to get one of those gloves, most of us don't have the need for one, but you sure do!
You've been doing a great job buddy, it's been a blast just listening to you talk about it. The best was when you called me the other day and I could hear drag screaming through the cell phone, that was classic!!!
