Friends caught some big reds over the weekend at the North Jetty. 40, 40, 42, and 42" I didn't get to go since I had stuff to do with the wife. Biggest I've caught this summer was a 21"... I missed out  Only 2 pics:

Off a pier? Dont really remember. I know I caught some pretty large sharks off of Bob Hall in the late 60s. Here's a pic of a 41 inch bull red caught in April, 2010: Bull Red
