I like using the larger senkos (dingers, BPS, etc) weighted T-rigged on deeper structure.

Weightless I use a spinning rig (7 ft mh) spooled with 30 lb yellow braid and a 15/20 lb, 4 or 5 foot, floro leader -- this set-up works great. I'm usually fishing in and around pretty nasty cover.

I think what I'm going to try is stepping down in line size. Currently I've been using 17 lb fluoro and will step down to 14-15 lb and see if that aids in casting. Again, thanks for the comments.

3/0 Superline hook and 15 lbs Seaguar. The fluoro and slightly heavier hook will help the bait sink without adding weight.

+1!!!

And like previously said the slow droping "natural action" works great, especially in this summer heat. However, I have even caught a few LMB twitching it as I'll reel it back in (like a jerk bait) (weightless T rigged). Discovered this purely by accident as I caught one close to the boat that had been following it in.

I also love the wackey rig, but always with the "O Ring".

Right now i am using a 7' MH Hendrix Senko rod. Do you guys step down to a M action rod when thowing them weightless, or use a rod with a lot faster tip? Thanks for the replies.

I am using a Falcon LFC-6-167 Weightless Worm, Curado 200E7, and 15# fluoro.

I've caught quite a few reeling it straight in too. I use a 7' Medium Power, Fast action spinning rod with 10/2 Sufix performance Braid.

can't fish it wrong dude, throw it out reel it just a hair to take out the slack, then let it sit while you count to 30... for real count that long then pick up slow, if heavier than it should set the hook

dance2 I nearly always use a lead nail stuck in the tail. If the fish does'nt get it on the initial fall, I jerk it back like a fluke. With the nail in the tail, if you see a fish following the bait you can twitch it just right and it will jump back right into the fishes face. bouncy
